Corbyn Plays Upward Basketball

Corbyn has developed a love of basketball. She has been constantly at my side this year as I have helped coach my school's basketball team (girls). Corbyn looks up to all of the girls and wants to be as good as them some day. She practices her shots on the side goals during our practice and can't wait each week until her team practices.

Our church has an Upward Basketball Program much like the soccer program that Corbyn played in the fall. They play games every Saturday. Corbyn is like a sponge when it comes to basketball moves and terminology. She wants to know everything and would play every day in the driveway if it wasn't so cold.

Randy and I are thrilled that she has come to love a sport. I am impressed with how quickly Corbyn has picked everything up. She knows how to rebound and considering she has only played in two games, does a great job of reading the other players and following the ball. She has good moves when it comes to getting open. I can't help but coach from the sidelines and she just rolls her eyes. She scored in her first basketball game ever last week. I was so proud!! This past week her team won their first game. Check out the footage of Corbyn in her 2nd game ever...
